For the past 30 years, women have represented only around 20% of the space workforce, with barely 1 in 10 leadership roles held by women.

We cannot aspire to stronger space leadership while the gender gap remains so wide.

Founded in October 2024, Space Women Alliance (SWAN) brings together women and allies across the space ecosystem to connect, empower and elevate women, turning inclusion into action and helping build a more diverse, innovative and high-performing space industry.

A leadership accelerator for mid-senior women
